Schedule
The RBA is currently working on the 2012 meeting schedule. We are looking for companies interested in hosting a meeting at their place of business or sponsoring a meeting by providing food for a meeting. Please contact Pat McGrady of Cold Stone Creamery/Blimpie or Brenda Schwind of Directions Credit Union if you are interested. Our meetings are held on the last Wednesday or every month. January - Read to the dogs! Paws with a Heart Reading Therapy Dogs. Kids can sign up to practice reading to their favorite pooch- Monday nights January 9- February 13th.
"Magic Freddy" The life of Frederick Douglass, a family presentation at the Rossford Library on Wednesday, February 1st at 6:30 p.m. Learn how this former slave known for his outstanding oratory skills became a leader in the abolitionist movement. Farmers & Merchants State Bank is currently collecting Men’s coats, hats, gloves and scarves for the homeless Veterans of Northwest Ohio. If you have any of these new or gently used items and would like to donate them for the Men that protected our country, we would greatly appreciate it. We are currently collecting the items at the Farmers & Merchants State Bank in Perrysburg, I will be willing to come collect items from your place of business. After all the FREE events at Santa Wonderland and visiting Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph and even Frosty the Snow man, it will soon be time for our next exciting events at Bass Pro Shops……
In February we will be featuring our FREE Boat Show in our Tracker Department. We will also have the Spring Fishing Classic going on where our pro staffers will be on hand along with our fishing department to give FREE seminars.
Not only does Santa visit Bass Pro Shops, we also have the Easter Bunny, who will arrive late March for FREE photos, egg hunts, crafts and more.
In April, we sponsor the Total Outdoor Challenge that is open to any person 18 years or older. They get scored on shooting a bow, a rifle and casting a fishing pole. All qualifiers will move to the next level and hopefully go to nationals!
The month of May brings us the “Go Outdoors Event” where you can check out all the things you will need for camping for the summer months ahead! There will be FREE drawings, crafts and activities for the kids and much more.
June begins 6 weeks of summer camp at Bass Pro. Kids and parents from all over, attend FREE seminars, go on scavenger hunts, participate in all kinds of actiivties and crafts and get FREE photos taken…As always, it’s a great time and lots of fun at Bass Pro Shops!!!

2012 Business Fair
The Rossford Business Association’s 2012 Business Fair, sponsored by Meijer and Promedica Bay Park Hospital, will be held on Saturday, March 24 at Owens Community College. The fair will run from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with setup from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23. We will also have a vendor reception on Friday from 4:30-6:00 p.m. The new location offers ample parking, handicap accessibility, sufficient electrical supply, a separate room for entertainment, and a wider variety of food service options for attendees. Rossford Schools have also agreed to provide shuttle service from the high school parking lot to the fair.
Booth prices will remain unchanged for the 2012 fair and businesses registered by Friday, Feb. 3 will receive the early-bird pricing. Additional sponsorship opportunities are also available:
