The Rossford Business Association
with the permission of the Rossford Record Journal
Our mission is to serve and support members of the Rossford business community by sharing business knowledge and talents, and capitalizing on the goods and services provided by Rossford professionals to collectively boost commerce and city partnerships.

Don’t Forget!

I want to thank everyone who was involved in our “very successful” 4th annual Rossford Business Fair.  My hope is that whether you manned your booth, worked setup or cleanup, or just attended the Fair, you found it to be a valuable and profitable experience.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the time they spent there talking business or watching the entertainment.  Hope to see everyone there next year!

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the information about “Fun at the Fountain” (our “thank you” to our adult patrons) which will again be scheduled in early September and features fun, food, music and adult beverages.  Please join us and tell your friends who may no longer be local as we would like to make this our version of an adult “Homecoming”.  The proceeds of this celebration are used to help fund the scholarships we present to Rossford students annually.  This program has grown for the last two years, let’s make it 3 in a row!

Finally, we have all of our meeting dates filled in for 2009, so make sure you put them in your calendar. I know I’ll see you all very soon!

Rossford Business Association

Seven years ago the Rossford Business Association (RBA) reorganized to support and help generate business activity in our community.  We believe that our members benefit by an active organization promoting the goods and services of our businessmen and professionals.  Over the past few years the RBA has grown dramatically and meets monthly to discuss and create projects that serve our members and the community.

We currently have committees active on several projects such as our annual Business Fair to be held at the Rossford High School on March 28, 2009.  The Business Fair gives our local businesses a showcase for their products and services in a fun and entertaining atmosphere.  The 3rd annual “Fun At The Fountain” scheduled for this summer, has become a community homecoming event, featuring beverages, food and entertainment.  We will continue to provide scholarships to local high school seniors pursuing educational opportunities after high school and we will be updating our Business Directory in 2009.

On the civic side, the RBA has supported the revitalization of the downtown district by aiding in the search for grant opportunities.  We also have a committee working on development of the “Cross Roads” in association with the developers and the retailers to bring more businesses and shoppers to our area.

If you are a business owner, manager, or a member of an organization in the Rossford area, we would invite you to become a member and an active part of the RBA.  You can view a list of our membership and meeting dates.

Sincerely,

Raymond J. Miller, Jr.
President
